Silver City Ballroom was absolutely beautiful! Throughout our planning process the owners were attentive and flexible with working to meet our needs. During the reception the bar tenders were accommodating and they even made our kids feel special by making them (non-alcoholic) Shirley Temples. The bathrooms were cleaned and stocked and spacious enough that our guest never had to wait in line for the bathroom. Having the use of the upstairs lounge area before being announced was comfortable and made us feel like celebrities. I 100% would have another event at Silver City it was a pleasure celebrating our union.

I just had a fashion show her a couple of weekends ago. Everything was perfect, from the drinks to the cleanliness to the lighting. The staff was amazing to work with and helped with all our needs. Bathrooms were clean all night and they made sure it never ran out of toilet paper or hand soap. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

No. Silver City Ballroom hosts only one wedding per day so your event has our full attention.
How many hours does the rental include?
You receive 10 consecutive hours of property access, with five hours of active service.
Is there parking available?
Yes. A free, secure 300-space parking garage is located directly next door, with elevator access and charging stations.
Is public transportation an option?
Yes. The Meriden train station is located directly across the street, serving Amtrak and regional rail lines.
Do you provide catering and bar service?
Yes. We offer in-house catering and bar service, with flexible options depending on your package. Outside caterers may also be used with proper licensing and insurance.
Do you offer getting-ready spaces?
Yes. VIP getting-ready suites are included with applicable packages.
Is a security or incidental fee required?
Yes. A refundable $500 incidental fee is required and returned after the event, provided there are no damages.
Do you require event insurance?
Yes. Day-of event insurance is required, and we provide a link to an approved provider.
Are there décor restrictions?
To protect the historic space, certain items such as open flames, confetti, sparklers, and adhesives are not permitted
