How many guests can the venue accommodate?

Silver City Ballroom accommodates:

  • Up to 200 guests for cocktail-style events

Is the vault inside the ballroom?

Yes. The original steel vault is built directly into the ballroom and serves as a defining architectural feature and backdrop for ceremonies, entrances, and photography.

Do you host more than one event per day?

No. Silver City Ballroom hosts only one wedding or private event per day so each celebration receives our full attention.

Is pricing transparent? Are there hidden fees?

Yes, pricing is transparent. Package pricing includes applicable site fees, service fees, and taxes. A refundable $500 incidental fee is required and returned after the event if no damages occur.

Can we customize a package?

Packages are structured for clarity, but certain upgrades and additions may be available depending on the package selected. Our team will review options with you during your tour.

CATERING + BAR

Do you provide catering?

Yes. Silver City Ballroom offers in-house catering with a variety of menu options, including cultural cuisines and customizable selections.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes. Tastings are included for couples who select catered packages.

Is bar service included?

Bar service is included with all-inclusive and micro wedding packages. Venue-only rentals include a cash bar option. Bar details vary by package.


Can we bring in outside caterers?

Outside caterers may be permitted for venue-only rentals, provided they meet licensing and insurance requirements.

How many hours are included with the venue?

Events include 10 consecutive hours of property access. Active service time varies by package.

Do you provide setup and cleanup?

Setup and cleanup are included with all-inclusive and micro wedding packages. Venue-only rentals do not include setup or cleanup services.

Do you provide tables and chairs?

Yes. Tables and Gold Chiavari chairs are included with all packages.

Do you have getting-ready spaces?

Yes. VIP getting-ready suites are included with applicable packages.

Is event insurance required?

Yes. Day-of event insurance is required for all events. We provide a link to an approved provider.

PARKING + ACCESSIBILITY

Is parking available?

Yes. A free, secure 300-space parking garage is located directly next door, with elevator access and electric vehicle charging stations.


Is public transportation accessible?

Yes. The Meriden train station is located directly across the street and serves Amtrak and regional rail lines.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?


Yes. Silver City Ballroom is fully accessible, including entrances, restrooms, and elevators.

Are there décor restrictions?

Yes. To protect the historic space, the following are not permitted:
